- You don't -- you assign instruments to MIDI channels. This is done
- with the MIDI editor in the early versions, if I recall right. So,
- you type a name for an instrument, enter the MIDI editor and set the
- channel and, if necessary, the patch number. Also bear in mind that
- you need to have MIDI enabled. The button for that is also in the
- MIDI editor.
